Kolkata: Harbhajan Singh, Ajinkya Rahane and Ashoke Dinda, who were did not feature in the playing XI of the third Test at the Eden Gardens here have been released by the BCCI so that they could play for their respective teams in the Ranji Trophy.

Harbhajan and Rahane will go to Mumbai where Punjab will lock horns against at the Wankhede Stadium, while Dinda will join his team-mates at Rajkot, where Bengal will be up against Saurashtra.

This is a policy followed by the Indian body to allow players who are not in the final XI to turn up for the domestic matches.
