Ravindra Jadeja becomes first Indian to get two triple centuries in one season

Rajkot: Ravindra Jadeja became the first Indian to score two triple centuries in one season of Ranji Trophy. Jadeja playing for Saurashtra remained unbeaten on 320 at the end of the second day’s play against Railways in a Group A Ranji Trophy match being played at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot.

This was Jadeja’s second triple hundred of the season with his first coming against Gujarat on November 12, 2012. In that innings he played an unbeaten knock of 303.

Jadeja also became the first Indian to score three first class triple centuries. His terrific achievement has put his team in a very strong position. Saurashtra were 534/6 at stumps on day two.
