Umesh Yadav ruled out of Kolkata Test

Mumbai: After their 10-wicket drubbing at the hands of England in the second Test, India received yet another setback as pacer Umesh Yadav, who was missed out of the match due to a lower back injury, has been ruled out of the next match as well scheduled to be held from December 5th in Kolkata.

"The injury is more serious than it was thought to be, so the team will have to make do without him for at least another Test," an insider was quoted as saying by 'ESPNcricinfo'.

It is being said that Yadav, has been advised "at least 10 days' rest" by a specialist in Mumbai, and will get a short break along with his team-mates. India's players have been given time off and have been asked to report in Kolkata on December 2. Yadav will join the squad in Kolkata to be monitored by physiotherapist Evan Speechley.

His injury piles up on the misery of the national selectors as they will be picking up the squad for the next two Tests on Tuesday.
