Mumbai: Out of form off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has been demoted in BCCI's list of player contracts for 2012-13. R Ashwin has earned a promotion and is included in Grade A.

A total number of 37 players were awarded Grades A, B and C contracts. Along with Ashwin other players who are in Grade A are Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Virat Kohli,  Zaheer Khan, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina.

Grade A contract is worth Rs. 1 crore each, Grade B contracts is worth Rs. 50 lakh each. Apart from Harbhajan, some of the other players who are in Grade B are Irfan Pathan,  Rohit Sharma, Ishant Sharma among others.
