England is ready for India challenge, says Broad

Colombo: After putting up a clinical performance Afghanistan, defending champion England are ready for the next match against India and their skipper Stuart Broad has claimed that they will look to carry forward the momentum in group A decider of the T20 World Cup.

“We defeated Pakistan and Australia in the warm-up games and showed aggression to beat Afghanistan. We know we can be challenge for any team,” Broad said. 

Asked about the next match that has become redundant but then would decide the group winners, Broad said, “We know the dangers India offer.But then we don’t look deep into the balance of the opposition team.”

”Our approach to the game won’t change. Sunday should be a fantastic game of cricket.”

Talking about Luke Wright’s innings, he said, “He showed a bit of maturity. He is really growing up as a cricketer. It’s really good to have a batsman coming in with confidence at number three.”
