Pressure on Yuvraj will reduce as his comeback match is out of the way: MS Dhoni

Mahendra Singh Dhoni after India’s one run loss against New Zealand expressed his disappointment and said that he along with Yuvraj Singh should have finished the match. Dhoni said that the pitch slowed down and it was difficult to score quickly.

Dhoni praised his bowlers specially L. Balaji who was making a comeback after three years. Dhoni said that Balaji bowled well in the death overs.

Dhoni also had some good words for Yuvraj Singh who was making a comeback into the squad. He said that Yuvraj batted with a lot of confidence and the pressure on him in the future will be much less as his comeback match is out of the way.

Dhoni praised Virat Kohli for his innings which set the game up for the Indian team.
Dhoni said that Virender Sehwag who missed the match will be back into the playing eleven in the games in the World Cup.

Kiwi all-rounder James Franklin who scripted New Zealand’s win with some fine bowling in the death overs said that he was a bit surprised by India’s decision to bowl first as the Chennai pitch tends to slow up a bit as the match progresses.

Franklin said that Virat Kohli’s wicket changed the course of the match.
