India currently at number position, however, will sail through the finals automatically if Cameroon beat Maldives on Wednesday.

But then if Maldives win, they will sail into the finals and then the other finalist will be decided in the match between Cameroon and India. Whatever may be the end results of the match, an exciting match will be on the cards and both the teams will be expected in their element.

Both the teams have some good players in their ranks and the outcome of the match in all likelihood will depend on how they perform.

Here are the players to watch out for

India

Mehtab Hossain: Rain has been constant companion to the Nehru Cup, which has affected movement of the players. Even on Tuesday it was same when India took on Nepal. The field was turned into a puddle of mud and the ball was travelling. And one player who seemed the most comfortable among all the players was Mehtab. He was constantly creating moves and was also finding the players correctly. He will play a huge in the next match as well if the conditions remain the same.

Syed Rahim Nabi: Nabi could not make his usual runs on the flanks initially due to adverse playing conditions, but then started setting as the match wore on. He was great in form in the match and has been linking well with the midfield. He already has scored a goal in the tournament and will play a huge role in the match.

Sunil Chhetri: India’s skipper has been leading the team from the front and already has scored three goals in the tournament. He has been playing very well and the team would expect him to play and make inroads for the team.

Cameroon:

Ebanga Bertin: The set piece specialist of Cameroon, he has been at the top of his game and has already scored three goals in the tournament. He is looking in great touch and India will need to come with a strategy to counter him.

Paul Roland: The skipper with the experience of playing in the Beijing Olympics has been like a rock in the defence line. The player who has had the distinction of marking renowned strikers during the Olympics is using his experience to the optimum and has been able to avert dangers successfully so far in the tournament. He will be responsible to stop the Indian forwards from making inroads in the match.
