New Zealand all out for 159, Ashwin scalps six

Hyderabad: Indian spinners got their act together to rip through the New Zealand batting line-up in the first session of the third day of the first Test at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium here today and enforce a follow on.

New Zealand starting the day at 106 for 5 still requiring 133 to save the follow on skittled for 159.

Coming on to bat, the Kiwis started off on cautious but then Indian got an early breakthrough in the match after Umesh Yadav removed Kruger
Van Wyk on the overnight score of 0.

And after that it the spin duo of R Ashwin and Pragyan Ojha got their act straightaway and cleaned the tail with much ease.

James Franklin who started the day at the overnight score of 31 was the last surviving man. He stayed unbeaten on 43.

For India Ashwin returned with figures six for 31 and Pragyan Ojha ended the day with three wickets for 44.
