Players to watch out for:

India:

Sunil Chhetri: The skipper led the team from the front in the first match against the formidable Syria. He was in sublime touch and scored the first goal for India in the tournament. The striker who now plays for the Sporting Lisbon’s reserve side was named the man of the match for his performance in the last match. He is definitely the man to watch out for as he can create problems for Istvan Urbanyi’s side.

Clifford Miranda: One of the senior players from the side, he was a livewire in the pitch in the last match. He was advancing well from the left flank and his passing was immaculate. He in fact assisted the first goal for India with an inch perfect cross for Chhetri to head it in.

Syed Rahim Nabi: The left back Nabi is best known for his blitzy runs on the flank but then however he played a much subdued role in the last match sticking to his defensive duties more. But then he is expected to play to his usual self and if he can do what he does best Maldives will find it very difficult.
