Colorado: American cyclist Lance Armstrong was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles on Friday by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) after coming to a conclusion that he has used performance enhancing drugs to achieve them.
Armstrong, who announced his retirement from cycling last year, also received a life ban in addition to the forfeiture of his titles.
USADA came to the decision after Armstrong decided not to fight the charges against him.
USADA in June said that it had evidence against Armstrong using banned substances to which the cyclist.
The American body claimed Armstrong used banned substances, including the blood-booster EPO and steroids, as well as blood transfusions dating back to 1996.
