Bangalore: Swashbuckling Indian batsman Virender Sehwag and fast bowler Zaheer Khan will not be taking part in the only T20 International in Sri Lanka as they have returned back home for a short stint at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), Bangalore.

Sehwag is back due in order a nurse a mild injury whereas Zaheer is there so that he could start the New Zealand series on a fresh note.

Both these players were dropped in the last ODI in Sri Lanka.
