Dubai: Indian batting great Sachin Tendulkar gained one spot and is presently at number 11 in the ICC rankings for Test batsmen. Sachin has 729 points and is the only Indian batsmen to be in the top 20 list.

West Indies’ Shivnarine Chanderpaul is on the top of the list, followed by Kumar Sangakkara of Sri Lanka.

Things are a bit better for Indian bowlers as two of their bowlers, Zaheer Khan and left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha are in the top 20 list for Test bowlers. Zaheer is at number 11, while Ojha is at number 20.

Dale Steyn from South Africa is leading the list for the bowlers with Pakistani bowler Saeed Ajmal following him at number two.
