Euro 2012--Spain vs France: Players to watch out for…

Two super heavyweights of world football Spain and France will go against each other in the third quarterfinals of the Euro Cup 2012 at the Donbass Arena in Donets’k. The temperature would reach to the ultimate point when the two teams collide today. Both of them are the best attacking sides and it would be very interesting to see as to who could break free tonight and survive in this clash of the titans.

Both the teams have some good players at their disposal and the outcome of the match would depend as to how they perform tonight:

France:

Frank Ribery: The attacking midfielder has had a decent tournament till now but could not get his name in the score sheet. He would like to change it today. He is a great player and he would be responsible for creating moves and could threaten any defender with his style of play.

Samir Nasri
: The attacking midfielder from Manchester City has had a good tournament till now. He was instrumental in helping his club win the Premier League title and the kind of form he has been in off late, he sure can create some problems for the La Roja defence.

Mathieu Debuchy: The right back has been like a rock in the defence. He would try to keep the Les Blues out of troubles and can get extremely dangerous when it comes to counter attack. He can make some extremely threatening runs on the flanks.

Spain:

Xavi Hernandez: The 32 year old central midfielder is an extremely talented footballer and what makes him more dangerous is that most of the Spanish players play along with him in FC Barcelona. The playmaker acts as a link between the defenders and forwards. He is expected to be at the heart of all of Spanish attack today and France would have to come up with a strategy to curtail him.

Cesc Fabregas: He has been a livewire in this tournament and arguably the best Spanish player in the tournament. He has been playing a roving striker and has fit into his new role perfectly well. Has already scored twice in the tournament and would definitely try and score tonight. He can be a game changer as we have seen in the tournament so far.

Andres Iniesta: The Spanish talisman has played to his reputation in the tournament and would like to contribute to their success like how he has been doing it from many years. He would look to create moves, would be responsible for taking set pieces. If he gets going tonight France would have difficult time trying to curtail him.
