New Delhi: Ace Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh who is struggling to make a comeback into the Indian national squad is likely to play county cricket for Essex. Harbhajan is expected to play once the County Championship starts.

Harbhajan has had a good experience playing in English county as back in 2005 and 2007 he played for Surrey and has 57 wickets to his name at an impressive average of 21.

Harbhajan will be eying to make a comeback into the Indian squad on the verge of his performance for Essex. There have been a lot of instances where a player has made a comeback to the squad after sweating it out in county cricket, with Zaheer Khan being the best example out of the lot.
