Euro 2012: Greece vs Czech Republic: Players to watch out for …

Greece and Czech Republic will play against each other in the first match of day on Tuesday. Technically Greece do hold an upper hand over the Czechs as they are coming into the match with a 1-1 draw and did play well in their first game, whereas for Czech Republic have lost their first match 1-4. In a do-or-die battle for the Czechs, expect the temperature to go high when the two teams clash tonight.

Both the teams have good players at their disposal and if they get going they can make it count for their team.

Here are some of the players to watch out for in the match:

Czech Republic:

Petr Cech
: He is one of the best goalkeepers of the world and the team would want him to man the post like he does for Chelsea. He failed in the last match, but then it's wasn't not much of his fault. He would have to live up to his reputation and stand like a rock in front of the post.

Tomas Rosicky: The Arsenal midfielder was off colors in the match but he said that he would make amends in this match. If Rosicky gets going, then things can get tough for Greece.

Greece:

Sokratis Papastathopoulos: He is the backbone of Greece’s defence and has let only five goals in the qualifying. He did well not to let Poland’s forward to breach the defence and his team would want something same as this in today’s match.

Georgios Samaras: He would be the man responsible to lead the Greece’s attack and would definitely look to make inroads in the match. He is a proven striker and the team would depend on him a lot.
