Euro 2012—Croatia vs Ireland: Players to watch out for…

In the second match of the day, Croatia and Ireland will go against each other. Now, both the teams have entered the tournament as an underdog and they would really have to come up with a good performance if they want to keep their chances alive in the tournament considering they have Italy and Spain in the same group.

Both the teams have some quality players in their side and the outcome of the match would depend on as to how these players perform:
Here are the players to watch out for from today’s match:

Croatia:

Luka Modric: The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder was one of the main reasons as to why they finished the League at the fourth position. Modric is a very creative player and his skills can do wonders for this Croatian side. He would look forward to carry on with his good run in national colours and help his team qualify for the next round.

Niko Kranjcar: Croatian coach Slaven Bilic would want this man to form up with his Spurs teammate Modric and create the kind of magic they have been doing throughout the season. He is one of the key players in the side and his co-ordination with Modric can do wonders for the team.

Ireland:

Robbie Keane: He is the most experienced player of the side. He has scored 53 international goals and has played with clubs like Internazionale and Liverpool. He is now playing in LA Galaxy in MLS but his recent short stint in Aston Villa has shown that he still has lot of football left in him and can influence his team to a win.
