IPL Match 72--Rajasthan vs Mumbai Indians: Players to watch out for…

In the last league match of the ongoing Indian Premier League, Rajasthan Royals will take on Mumbai Indians. The match won’t have any effect on the tournament, Mumbai have already qualified for the playoffs and they will now that they can’t be in the top two even with a win. MI will face either RCB or Chennai in the playoffs.

Rajasthan Royals were in the race for a place but a loss against the bottom placed Chargers stopped their campaign. If they win today’s match they will finish on number sixth position ahead of Kings XI.
Let’s have a look at some of the players who can entertain today’s crowd.

Rajasthan Royals:

Shane Watson: Rajasthan has always done well whenever this explosive Aussie batsman has spent a substantial amount of time on the crease. He is a big hitter and can clear any boundaries. Watson will be looking to end his campaign on a high.

Ajinkya Rahane: He started the tournament brilliantly, but his form has faded a bit as the tournament has progressed. He has played only one good innings in the past 4-5 matches and he will be eager to get some runs in his last outing. He has impressed everyone and would like to finish it with style.

Shaun Tait: He has been in good rhythm but had a bad game against Deccan Chargers. Tait is a genuine match-winner and can hurry any batsmen. He will be tested against the strong Mumbai batting line up.

Siddharth Trivedi: He has bowled some very good spells for Royals in this season. He is one bowler who has always been under the radar and goes unnoticed. Trivedi will be waiting to have one final go in front of his home crowd.

Mumbai Indians:

Sachin Tendulkar: Sachin has not had a good tournament so far. He has played a couple of good innings but hasn’t had much impact on the tournament. With playoffs round the corner, this batting great will be looking to get some runs under his belt.

Dwayne Smith: He hasn’t done anything with the bat since the time he scored 14 runs of three balls to win the match. Smith is a confident individual and will be looking to make a statement before the playoffs. He is a powerful striker and scores at an unbelievable pace.

Munaf Patel: He has been one erratic bowler in this season. He has produced some match winning spells in some matches and has also been the reason why Mumbai lost some of the matches. Munaf will know that he is not bowling at his best and will be looking to correct that.

Harbhajan Singh: Captain of the Mumbai Indians has had a tournament. His bowling has been as inconsistent as his team. Harbhajan has somehow lost the wicket taking ability and he only focuses on stopping runs. He will be looking to get some wickets against his name before the playoffs.
