Sehwag says Hilfenhaus was unplayable; Dhoni praises him for giving that extra spark to CSK

Chennai: Crediting Ben Hilfenhaus for Chennai Super Kings comprehensive win against Delhi Daredevils, Delhi skipper Virender Sehwag said that it was difficult for Delhi to defend a meagre total of 114 runs on a wicket which was good to bat on.

“It was difficult to defend 114. It was a good wicket to bat on. CSK played well and full credit to them for beating us comprehensively. Ben Hilfenhaus bowled superbly and he was unplayable. The ball was swinging away. We have three more games left and two of it are against KXIP. We hope to win one or two against them,” said Sehwag.

Meanwhile winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni too praised Hilfenhaus saying that he has given CSK that extra spark. “We needed to play authentic cricket chasing less than a run a ball. Hussey and Vijay gave us the start we needed. It was not swinging too much after the first couple of overs and so we needed to keep Hilfenhaus for the death overs. He has given us that extra spark. Albie too is bowling well with him. Our openers are also doing well too. So in a way we are going well,” said Dhoni.

Man-of-the-match Ben Hilfenhaus said, “It was good to start well and put them under pressure. I enjoyed bowling today. We did well as a group, both in bowling and batting. I would like to come back and bowl in the death and try and improve.”
