Kolkata: Two days ahead of taking on Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League, Kolkata Knight Riders coach Trevor Bayliss is looking at players like Gautam Gambhir and Yusuf Pathan for tips on getting out Sachin Tendulkar on Saturday.
However, Bayliss admitted it was always a tough assignment when playing against Tendulkar.
"We have number of Indian players who play against him. I'm sure they would have their thoughts. Obviously it would be a difficult assignment anytime you play Sachin."
The Gambhir-led Knight Riders now occupy the top slot in the league table bagging 17 points from a dozen games. They are already through to the playoffs.
Bayliss was also happy with the batsmen's showing in the last few games. "In the last five or six games our batsmen have done well. Gambhir has been superb. (Brendon) McCullum has started to get runs."
He attributed the dearth of runs on the part of the middle order to lackof opportunities. (IANS)
