Hyderabad: Kings XI Punjab skipper David Hussey is very optimistic about their chances of making it to the play-offs and remain confident despite the fact that would need to win all their remaining matches to end on number fourth position after the league matches.

“We are confident and had we not been confident of making it to the finals, we would not have in the competition. All the team starts with an aim to make it to the top four.Our job is to win the next four to qualify for the finals. If we can keep playing well like how we did against Deccan Chargers we will have the chance," said Hussey.

Hussey said that good batting performance in the first six overs did really set the game for them against the Deccan Chargers.

"Wicket is on the lower side. So, we knew if we could score around160-170 it will be a good score which ultimately we did," he said.

KXIP are now at 12 points from as many matches and are currently at the fifth position on the points table.
