IPL Match 50--Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Deccan Chargers: Players to watch out for…

Royal Challengers Bangalore will host Deccan Chargers in the second match of Sunday in the ongoing Indian Premier League. RCB has been one of the most fancied team right from the moment the tournament started, they played in last year’s finals and a lot was expected from them. But things have not gone according to the plan for this team; RCB is number seven on the points table and have had some bad losses.

Deccan Chargers on the other hand are in the pursuit to leave the bottom place which they have made their own from the very first game of IPL-5. A win can take them above Warriors and maybe even above RCB. Chargers will be desperate to leave the last position and will be looking to spoil the party for some big teams.

Let’s have a look at some of the players who can make the difference in the match.

Deccan Chargers:

Cameron White: He has been in tremendous form off late and has sometimes been the sole fighter from the Deccan Chargers. White has made three 70s now and is looking in dangerous form. RCB will have to go past him if they want to secure the two points from the match.

Parthiv Patel: He has been involved in some good partnerships with Dhawan but has not played a big innings for his side. Parthiv is a handy batsman and can find the gaps early in his innings. He will be looking to provide a quick start to his team.

Veer Pratap Singh: He has a good bowling action and bowls at a good pace. He has scalped some important wickets for the Chargers and is blossoming under the company of Dale Steyn. This young man has showed a lot of potential and has the ability to get early wickets.

Dale Steyn: He will be bowling against Chris Gayle and his job will be to get the Caribbean King out. Steyn has bowled some tremendous spells in this year’s IPL and his team will need one such spell against Gayle and company.

Royal Challengers Bangalore:

Virat Kohli: He made a run a ball 40 in the last innings he played and that would have given him a lot of confidence. Kohli has been struggling in the tournament and knowing the competitor he is, he will be highly disappointed. Kohli will be looking to share the workload with Chris Gayle.

AB de Villiers: He has been one of the best batsmen for RCB this season. RCB has done well whenever he has been on the crease for a substantial time. He is one of the best finishers in the world and a lot on depends on him.

Daniel Vettori: The skipper of RCB has been struggling to take wickets in the tournament. He is one of the best bowlers when it comes to T20 cricket and his economy rate is up among the best. Vettori will know that a lot depends on him and will be itching to get some numbers in the wicket column.

Zaheer Khan: He has bowled well in patches and will be looking to improve on that. His fast bowling partner, Vinay Kumar has been struggling and that makes Zaheer’s job even more important.
