Kolkata: Post the match billed as the "Dada-Shah Rukh grudge game", Pune Warriors captain Sourav Ganguly and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan who co-owns the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Saturday displayed their camaraderie much to delight of their fans at the Eden Gardens.
Ganguly earlier captained KKR but was dumped by the team a year ago. The match against his former team in his own backyard had been touted as grudge match. However, it was an anti-climax for Ganguly fans as his team went down to the Knights by 7 runs.
A sombre looking Ganguly was first greeted by actress Juhi Chawla, another KKR co-owner. Moments later Shah Rukh also joined in.
The duo later with arms on each others' shoulders went round the park as the fans cheered and clapped.
Ganguly, who initially seemed to have cold-shouldered Shah Rukh, was seen chatting animatedly with the actor. (IANS)
