Irfan wants Pathan to perform, but after May 7th

New Delhi: Star Delhi Daredevils (DD)all rounder Irfan Pathan is obviously disappointed about his brother Yusuf Pathan’s bad run in the tournament and wishes that he starts performing soon but after May 7th when Delhi host the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium. “He is a very destructive player and definitely a match winner. He can change things around very soon for his team. I wish he starts performing soon, but after our match against Knight Riders,” said Irfan at the sidelines of a DD promotional event at a city mall today.

Yusuf who plays for KKR has not been seen in best of his forms. “It is a good sign for KKR that they are putting up a great performance without Yusuf being in form. And if he starts performing than he can alone see them through which obviously is not a good sign for other team,” he added.

Pathan feels Delhi Daredevils who are currently at the top of points table would have a tough job in hand when they take on KKR. “We are at top and they are at number second position. They are playing good cricket and it would be an exciting match. They have players who play Delhi and that would definitely make things easy for them as well as they can exploit the conditions well. And for us we would try and keep our winning momentum on,” added Pathan.
