I'm lucky to have scored five consecutive 50s: Sehwag

Jaipur: Virender Sehwag played a blistering knock of 73 runs in just 38 balls against the Rajasthan Royals to chase down the small total set by the hosts. Sehwag in the process became the first batsmen to make five consecutive half-centuries in T-20 cricket.

Sehwag in the post match press conference said that he thinks that he lucky to have achieved the feat and hopes that he is able to continue his good form for the coming matches as well.

When asked about his team’s form, the captain of the Delhi Daredevils said that he doesn’t want his team to bear the tag of favorites and he is happy to be termed as a good competitive side. He said that the tag of favorites puts extra pressure on the team. He also thanked the support staff for all the efforts they have put in the Daredevils side.

Rahul Dravid, captain of the Rajasthan Royals said in the press conference that he thinks that this is the first time his team played bad cricket. Dravid who scored 57 runs said that they got a good start and were hoping to post a score somewhere around 180. On Sehwag, Dravid said that he is in terrific form and he is very good to watch.
