Kolkata: Deccan Chargers who are still looking for their first win in the current edition of the Indian Premier League, Monday exuded confidence of reversing their fortunes and hope to qualify for the play-offs.
"Of the 11 games left, we need to win at least eight games to make it to top four. Anything is possible. We have had eight wins before (2009, 2010). We need just a win and we will be through and running," Chargers' fielding coach Trevor Penney said.
Penney blamed "mistakes at crucial times" for the team's dismal performance in the current edition of the tournament.
"We have been playing well in most of the games. It's just that we are making mistakes at crucial moments which are costing us the games. We have been playing 95 percent of time well in a game, it's just the 5 percent which we need to improve," said Penney.
He also exuded confidence of doing well in their crucial match against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens Tuesday. "We are not thinking about the negatives anymore. We have been practising hard and hope to do well."
