Kings XI Punjab hopeful of having a good season in IPL-5: Gilchrist

Adam GilchristNew Delhi: The field is set and the kings of the IPL are ready to take on their opponents. Kings XI Punjab kick started their campaign today, marking the beginning of IPL Season 5, at PCA Stadium, Mohali. The event witnessed the presence of Adam Gilchrist, captain-coach, Joseph Henry Dawes, bowling coach, Mike Young, Fielding coach and Col Arvinder Singh, COO, Kings XI Punjab.
Commenting on the occasion, Col Arvinder Singh, COO, Kings XI Punjab, said, “Our team is a perfect mix of talented and budding cricketers and with Adam Gilchrist leading and mentoring the squad this year as Coach - Captain, we are confident of exemplary cricketing action on ground this season. All the players in the team have the potential of becoming game changers. The spirit and zeal of the team will ensure that they go a long way in this season.”

The Kings XI Punjab Cup, initiative undertaken in association with Institute of Fashion Technology of Punjab University, the alliance with Indraprastha All India Sports Foundation to launch the one of a kind reality show, ‘Cricket Champs’, the social media campaign – ‘Mein Ha Sher’ and many more are examples in point.
