Mumbai: Indian Premier League has always been a happy hunting ground for Rudra Pratap Singh. With 56 wickets from four seasons in IPL, the leading bowler from Uttar Pradesh is keen to make an impact this season as well and says that he is not only working hard on his bowling but is honing his batting skills as well.
"I am totally fit and raring to go. I am working hard on my batting as well. In T20, a bit of batting can come out handy for the team’s cause," said RP, who would be playing for Mumbai Indians this season.
Terming IPL to be a big platform for players, the left-arm pacer said that he was happy to have made an impact in the previous four editions and hopes to bounce back in this season as well. RP said that he was happy with his transfer to Mumbai Indians and feels lucky to be playing with Sachin Tendulkar. “He is the world’s best batsman. I'm lucky to play under him. I'm yet to speak to him after joining here. I'm looking forward to him."
