New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals who won the inaugural edition of the Indian Premier League(IPL) have signed England’s Owais Shah for the fifth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as a replacement for their skipper Shane Warne of Australia.

Warne retired from all formats of cricket last year. Rajasthan who was captained by Shane Warne in the last four editions of the IPL would see Rahul Dravid taking on the charge for this year.

The 33-year-old Shah is an experienced campaigner in the IPL has earlier represented Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Daredevils and Kochi Tuskers Kerala.
