Kolkata: Orissa batsman had an easy outing against Jharkhand as they chased down the target of 254 runs in just 42.3 overs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy; the match was played at the Jadavpur University ground in Kolkata.

For Jharkhand, Kumar Deobrat and Saurabh Tiwary were the main run scorers, scoring 72 and 57 runs respectively.

In reply, Orissa got a brilliant start from their opener Paresh Patel who scored a quick-fire 87, after the brisk start, Sujit Lenka and Bibhudutta Panda steered the team home with an unbeaten stand of 69 runs.
