New Delhi: Former Pakistan captain and legendary pace bowler Wasim Akram feels that Sachin Tendulkar should make things easy for the selectors and hang his boots as long as the shorter format of the game is concerned. Akram believes that the selectors would not dare to drop him even if he does not perform well.
"I feel Tendulkar should leave one-dayers and concentrate on Test cricket in order to make things easy for the selectors. The Indian selectors can never dare to drop Tendulkar even if he goes on performing badly," said Akram.
The veteran fast bowler also emphasized on the point that Sachin should not be bothered his ton of tons as Akram feels that centuries would keep coming even if the master blaster retired from the ODI and plays only the longer format of the game.
"Tendulkar should decide on his future. Hundreds will come by for Tendulkar in the longest format of the game and he should not worry about that," added Akram
