New Delhi: Virender Sehwag will be relieved to find that if not for the national duties there are people back in the Daredevils’ team who still believe in his skills. TA Sekar, director of coaching Delhi Daredevil came out with a statement saying that there is no doubt over the team’s captaincy as Virendra Sehwag will be the sole leader of the group.

Sekar said that the team management believe in his skills and know that he is an impact player and can turn the fortune in his favor at any time.

Sehwag has been struggling to make any impact for his national side though, as he has failed horrible with the bat. His captaincy has also come under scanner for all the wrong reasons.

There were speculations being made that the Sri Lankan captain Mahela Jayawardene can take the role but Sekar denied that rumor.
