New Delhi: Hockey India came out with the list of 48 probables for the London Olympics. The biggest names that were missing from the list were of the former India captain Rajpal Singh and Veteran Arjun Halappa.
Both these players were missing from the team that won the Olympic qualifiers. Rajpal and Halappa were in the list of probables but did not feature in the team, with Halappa in the standbys and Rajpal not picked at all.
India played exceptionally well throughout the tournament without these big names and that looks to be the reason behind selectors not picking them.
