New Delhi: India will participate in the 21st Sultan Azlan Shah Cup Hockey Tournament to be held at Sultan Azlan Shah Stadium, Ipoh from May 24 to June 3, 2012. India have been five time winners of this tournament, having annexed the title in 1985, 1991, 1995, 2009 and 2010.
Besides India, the other teams who shall participate in this tournament are Great Britain, Korea, New Zealand, Pakistan, Argentina and host Malaysia.
This seven nation tournament will be played on round- robin league format, culminating in positional playoffs on the last day.
India will open their campaign against New Zealand on May 24 to be followed with matches against Korea, Great Britain, Malaysia, Argentina and Pakistan.
