Irfan Pathan ties knot with Jeddah girl Safa Baig, Ravindra Jadeja gets engaged to Rivaba Solanki

It’s season of marriages and engagements for Indian cricketers. India speedster Varun Aaron married his fiancé and childhood friend Ragini Singh in a traditional Christian ceremony two days ago, while all-rounder Ravidra Jadeja got engaged to Rivaba Solanki at a private function on Friday. And now there are reports that Gujarat’s pacer Irfan Pathan too tied the knot with 21-year-old Jeddah girl Safa Baig on Thursday.

“Thirty-one-year-old Pathan married Baig, a model by profession who works with a public relations firm, after a two-year relationship that began when they met in Dubai. The simple ceremony attended by both families was held at Haram Shareef in the holy city of Mecca,” says a report in The Times of India.

According to a report in The New Indian Express, 26-year-old Jadeja said, "This is a very big thing for me that I have got engaged, I always wanted to marry with someone from my caste. It was my dream, and I am very thankful to my God that my dream is accomplished."
