Ravindra Jadeja happy to get Michael Clarke’s wicket four times in the series

Ravindra Jadeja is the man of the moment and with his consistent performance throughout the series he has not only justified his selection but has also made Aussie batsmen to dance to his spinning tunes.

Michael Clarke has got out four times in this series to Ravindra Jadeja and has always looked clueless against his spinning deliveries. As per the reports of Times of India the left-arm spinner was quoted saying, “It’s good to get a crucial wicket four times in a series but my aim is to pick as much wickets as I can so that team wins the Test.”

He added on getting Clarke out four times, “His record has been outstanding against India, so it’s good to get rid of him as soon as possible. His conversion rate is brilliant and his wicket is very important for his team as he holds the key of their success.”

According to the reports in Deccan Chronicle, Jadeja was said, “Wicket was not giving much assistance to the spin bowling as it was the first day of play so wicket was good for batting. But my task was to bowl in right channel to keep the batsmen under pressure, and not to give them any space whatsoever. If there’s purchase from the wicket, I will try to bowl within the stumps.”

His morale was not down after the first session went wicket-less for India but bowlers did well to restrict them to 109 runs. “We picked up the wickets at regular intervals and that’s why balance tilted in our favour. We simply stuck to our plan. We’d try to get the three wickets early tomorrow (Saturday) and then bat well and see the situation over the next two days.”
