"I have been waiting and waiting for things to happen but nothing moves forward. It's a three acre piece of land that was promised long back by the state government," said Mary Kom, who was felicitated by Mahindra Group here.
Kom, who was presented with Mahindra's sports utility vehicle Bolero, said the land had already been identified but the paperworks have been delayed.
"The land has been finalised. We know where it is but the paperwork has not been done," said the 29-year-old, a mother of twin sons.

So, I will start training after the New Year,” said Mary Kom at a felicitation function here where she promoted Bolero, an SUV from the Mahindra stable, on Thursday.
On the possibility of her participation in the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games (where women’s boxing will be one of the disciplines), the five-time world champion said, “I will be ready to fight in major events like the Commonwealth Games, Asian Games and the Olympics. Mary Kom asserted that she had not changed as a person despite enjoying the status of an icon. “Life has changed. I have got people’s love, many awards and vehicles. People call me to schools and colleges in various states. I am busy with a lot of travelling and felicitations… But Mary Kom is Mary Kom.”
