Sahana raises the bar higher and also book a London Olympic berth

A mother of a six-year-old, Sahana Kumari can boast of one of the flattest abs among India’s mom-population. More importantly she can now also brag her credentials as India’s latest Olympic qualifier after her chiseled torso, bereft of any fat, leapt, curled and bent over a horizontal bar placed at 1.92 metre sensationally late on Saturday to book her berth (B-Standard) for London, says a report in The Indian Express.

“My biggest sacrifice has undoubtedly been being away from my daughter,” she said soon after breaking the national record held by Bobby Aloysius at 1.91 metres. It was supposed to be an Anju Bobby George show, but at the GMC Balayogi stadium, where the famous mother’s comeback was widely anticipated, Sahana raised the bar higher to gain the qualification while erasing the eight-year old national mark at the National Inter-State Athletic Meet, adds the Indian Express report.
