Sachin Tendulkar is a great player but I like Rahul Dravid the most for the way he approaches the game, says Mike Hussey. According to a report in The Times Of India, Mike Hussey and Rahul Dravid are similar in many ways. Both had been integral parts of their national teams for more than a decade, yetthe spotlight has rarely been on them. Therefore, it wasn’t surprising when ‘Mr Cricket’ termed the ‘Wall’ as his favourite Indian cricketer of the modern era.
“It’s his guts, determination and never-say-die attitude that makes him stand out,” Hussey said, praising the Indian stalwart, who quit international cricket after the team’s debacle in Australia.
According to a report in The Indian Express, Rajasthan Royals are yet to set their cash counters ringing but they are not losing much sleep over it either. Co-owner Raj Kundra, says the IPL franshise is more committed to unearth the hidden talents of the country.
"We are not making much of the profits but we are certainly not making any losses as well. There have been arbitration costs going along but that has nothing to do with our earnings from the match.
"We are not only concerned about making profits but we are committed to promote the Indian talent. It was Yusuf Pathan in the first edition, then it was Ravindra Jadeja and now it is Ajinkya Rahane," said Kundra.
Meanwhile seeking to end their losing streak at home, Chennai Super Kings will have their task cut out when they take on an improved Deccan Chargers here on Friday, says a report in The DNA.
