Delhi Daredevils will take on Mumbai Indians in a match in the ongoing Indian Premier League and the question that everyone is asking is whether Sachin Tendulkar will play in this match or not?
The Times of India reported that Sachin is all set to play the match against the Delhi daredevils. Sachin practiced for 45 minutes and looked comfortable.
Mumbai Indians have been missing the genius as they haven’t had any good start and they will dearly want that to change against the strong looking Delhi team.
Sachin suffered an injury in the very first match and has been unavailable for selection since then. With Sachin expected to play, Mumbai Indians will be confident of making it three in a row.
Meanwhile, DNA reported that the Mumbai Indians opener Richard Levi hinted in a press conference that Sachin might take the field against Delhi. Levi said that it is still not confirmed whether the little master will play or not and the call will be taken before the match.
Sachin did practice and spend some time in the nets; he did a bit of knocking and looked in good touch. Sachin was hit by a Doug Bollinger ball and has not featured in any of the matches after that. The report suggested that by the look of things in the practice session his finger looked ok and he may dawn the Mumbai colors.
Two of the strongest team will fight it out against each other in a very crucial match at the Wankhade in Mumbai. Both, Delhi Daredevils and Mumbai Indians have a strong batting line-up and are coming on the back of thumping victories.
Mumbai Indians have won three matches out of the four they have played and the team from Delhi also has just one defeat from the three matches that they featured in, reports Daily Bhaskar.
The match is expected to be a high-scoring one as both the teams have explosive batsmen in their ranks.
