We took a gamble and it worked out beautifully for us: Pollard

Kieron Pollard after their win over Rajasthan Royals said that the gamble that they took of bowling Lasith Malinga in the 15th over paid rich dividend as he got the crucial wicket of Owais Shah.

Pollard in a report in The Indian Express said that it was a gamble and it worked perfectly as Malinga bowled the dangerous looking Shah with the first delivery that he bowled in the 15th over. Shah was playing brilliantly and was looking to take the game away from the Mumbai Indians.

On his promotion in the batting line-up he said that it worked out well in the end. He said that he would like to continue the good form that he showed and would love to contribute in his teams’ victory.

Meanwhile, the defending champions Chennai Super Kings are looking to get the winning momentum back as they have lost two out of the three matches that they have played so far.

DNA reports that CSK who are looking to complete a hat-trick of titles are having a roller-coaster ride in the tournament. MS Dhoni’s men will be looking to bring the consistency back in their game.

Chennai has one win to their name which they got against Deccan Chargers; apart from that win the men in yellow had two very bad games and lost the matches with huge margins.
