Virender Sehwag heaps praise on Rahul Dravid

Rahul Dravid’s retirement is the talk of the town and his humbleness had everyone in his awe, and there is no one from the cricket fraternity who could keep themselves away from praising the “Wall.”

The swashbuckling Indian batsman Virender Sehwag who shared the dressing room with Dravid for a long time in a promotional event said that he is happy for Jammy and feels that there would be no one like him in Indian cricket ever, reported TOI.

"I am proud, honoured and privileged that I played with him for 10 years. There is nothing that he hasn't achieved in the game. There won't be a player like him in Indian cricket ever. No one will be able to match his overseas performances,” TOI quoted Sehwag.

Sehwag also denied any rifts within the team and said that Dhoni’s performance establishes he is a good captain. “Mere manne ya na manne se kya hoga? (How does my opinion make a difference?)," he wondered, before going on: "He has won the T20 and 50-over World Cup. His performance says that he is a good captain," he added.

When asked about his fitness in the same event he said that only BCCI had answer to the question and he is going to remain shut which raises a cloud of suspicion that he was indeed dropped and not rested, reported the TOI portal.
