Pep Guardiola's Manchester City squad continued to bleed points with a third consecutive draw. The team previously had ties against Stoke City and Liverpool.
The Citizens also failed to regain third place from Liverpool, which won the Merseyside derby 3-1 on Saturday against Everton.
Manchester City now has 58 points and is in fourth place, with one postponed match to go against West Bromwich Albion.
Chelsea leads the EPL with 69 points.
