Madrid: Sevilla President Pepe Castro has backed his team's coach Jorge Sampaoli as the right person to take the helm of the Spanish football club.
Castro said after the change of technical staff this season, he knew that Sampaoli was the ideal person following many hours of talks with the Argentine, reports Efe.
He made these remarks during the ceremony of the 2015 Ibero-American Community Trophy, as Sampaoli received the best Ibero-American athlete award.
The president of the Spanish club added that the main aim of Sevilla this season is to finish La Liga third or fourth to play in the UEFA Champions League.
