Rome: Mario Balotelli of Machester City who is having a season filled with controversy wishes to stay at Eastlands despite Roberto Mancini’s belief that that the Italian striker might not be a part of the team next season.
Balotelli's violent nature which has earned him four red cards seems to have tested Mancini's patience enough, but the player's agent Mino Raiola said his client wants to stay at Eastlands.
"This is not the moment to return to Italy. Mario must progress and learn in England. We have not asked for a transfer for Mario," Raiola told Sky sport.
"Mancini has denied having said that he no longer wants to have anything to do with Mario. He expected a heavy suspension and can't use him again this season," he added.
