Manchester United defeated West Bromwich Albion on the back of Wayne Rooney twin strikes, the win has given United one point edge over their rivals Manchester City in the Barclays Premier League.

Rooney was the only goal score in the match and scored his first goal from a Javier Hernandez's. His second goal came from a penalty stroke that sealed United’s place on the top of the table.
