Panaji: Kolkata heavyweights East Bengal will be eyeing their second consecutive away win when they face Churchill Brothers in an I-League football match here on Wednesday.

Mohun Bagan are top of the table, with nine points from three matches. East Bengal drew their first game 1-1 with Aizawl FC at home and won 2-1 against DSK Shivajians in Pune to have four points after two matches.

East Bengal coach Trevor James Morgan takes on a Churchill side bereft of its top players and only Trinidad and Tobago forward Anthony Wolfe to look forward to.

"I think at the moment, all of our games are must win games, if we want to be challenging for the title. We are certainly trying and we are prepared to win the game. We've got some more firepower than we had in our first game. In the game against DSK (Shivajians), I thought we looked pretty good going forward," Morgan said on Tuesday.

Churchill, on their part, are coming to the tie on the back of successive defeats in their first two matches.

"Of course it is a must-not-lose match for us. We have to come out with at least a point or maximum points. In the last two matches, I was not disappointed with the performance but even if we did not win the matches, at least we could have come home with a point," Churchill coach Alfred Fernandes said.

In another match, defending champions Bengaluru FC will be up against an in-form Mumbai FC at the Kanteerava Stadium.

Both teams have won their first two matches to have six points from two games.

A new-look Mumbai side, which includes coach Santosh Kashyap, has been impressive so far in both their wins. Hence Bengaluru coach Albert Roca said his team's task won't be easy.

"This is a team that is mentally strong after two wins. So we are ready for a hard battle. They have enough talent to put us in trouble and they will try it. But we are ready for that," said the Spaniard while addressing the press on the eve of the game on Tuesday.

Bengaluru have had a flawless start scoring five goals and conceding none in wins over Shillong Lajong and Chennai City FC.

But the hosts will have to switch gears if they are to take away something from Mumbai who have always been a fighting unit.
