Goa: DempoSC have secured in the services of English Centre- Back Calum Angus for the 2014/2015 season.

A product of the Portsmouth Academy, Angus is known for his tough tackling and has the ability to play out from the back with ease. Angus is a very efficient leader and has played for Portsmouth FC (England) and GAIS (Sweden).

Angus joins Dempo SC after having won 5 Man of the Match awards in the I-League last season and will be the lynchpin of the Dempo SC rearguard this season, who with a blend of experience and youth in their ranks will be considered one of the favorites to have a successful season under the watchful eyes of Mr Arthur Papas.

I had a couple of offers from Sweden and Thailand, but after I spoke to Mr Papas, my mind was made up and I signed for Dempo SC immediately.
