Captain Virat Kohli (70) and Player of the Match AB de Villiers (72*) and the partnership between them for the third wicket worth 118 runs helped the Royal Challengers Bangalore beat the Delhi Daredevils by 5 wickets in the league match of the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League.
At the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi on Saturday, DD batted first and on the back of a half century from Rishabh Pant, who is having a special season this year, scored 181 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. In response, RCB got to the target in 19 overs itself and lost 5 wickets in the process. Trent Boult was the pick of the bowlers for the Delhi Daredevils and picked up 2 wickets.
