The Delhi Daredevils host the Royal Challengers Bangalore on Saturday evening at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi.
While the Delhi Daredevils are out of the tournament, if RCB win all their remaining four games they might still have an outside chance to qualify depending on the net run rate and that might be enough motivation for Virat and company to push for a win. Delhi on the other would be looking to end the season on a high and come back next year with memories of the healthy finish and try and start from the same note in the 12th edition of the league.
All eyes would on youngster Rishabh Pant became the second youngest player to score a hundred in IPL against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Along with Pant, Shreyas Iyer, Prithvi Shaw and Munro/Roy’s performance at the top of the order could be critical for tonight’s game. Delhi can definitely play the spoil sport here having games with teams like RCB and MI who are still fancying their chances for a place in the Play Offs.
It is now or never for RCB. If CB get some momentum right here and collect a massive win on the way, they might still have some hope to qualify for the business end of the league. ABD and Virat are superstars of the team, however, others need to step up and ease off the pressure of the great batsmen in RCB want to win all their remaining four games.
Eyes would be on Trent Boult and Umesh Yadav when they take the field on Saturday. They have been amidst the wicket takers for their respective teams and both the teams will expect that the trend continues so that they put up a healthy show tonight at the capital city.
