London: England's selectors have called up wicketkeeper Steven Davies for the final Test against the West Indies, as a cover for Matt Prior who is struggling with an eye infection.
The 25-year-old Davies has played eight One-Day Internationals and five Twenty20s for England since making his international debut against the West Indies three years ago in the Caribbean.
He was the second choice keeper for England's series against Pakistan and Sri Lanka during the winter.
Once Prior is declared fit, Davies will be immediately released from the squad. (IANS)
